Passive distribution systems and pre-wired cables are an important part of any machine installation, and replace expensive terminal boxes with time-consuming wiring. The distribution boxes are positioned in close proximity to the process, providing the wiring between sensors and actuators using pluggable, pre-wired cables. Murrelektronik’s Exact12 and MQ12 passive plug-in distribution boxes are the ideal combination for your decentralized machinery or system installation.
Assembly, start-up and service times can be reduced considerably in accordance with the motto “plugged in – what else did you expect?”, therefore saving money during installation and maintenance.
The time taken for installation is minimized with maximum safety and speed by installing the Exact12 distribution boxes on site and connecting sensors and actuators using prefabricated MQ12 connecting cables.

In addition to the existing MVP12 with a pluggable connecting cap and an M23 plug-in connection, Exact12 is now also available with a molded PUR homerun cable.
In order to make start-ups easier, each socket has LED indicators to display the signal statuses.
The 4-port or 8-port versions of the distribution boxes can be optionally installed “inline” (e.g. with mounting profiles) or using the standard 3-hole attachment method.
The connection to the sensor or actuator for MQ12 is handled by the M12 snap-in connection system, meaning that no modifications are required at the sensor end. MQ12 is fully compatible and interchangeable with normal commercial solutions. The attractively simple “¼ turn – fixed” mechanism cuts down installation time by up to 80%.
MQ12 is available in straight and 90° with and without LED as well as male and female versions.
