Operating four IO-Link Devices on a single master port

In many machines or systems, available IO-Link master ports are in short supply and additional master modules incur unnecessary costs and take up space. The IO-Link Multiplier provides a solution: It turns one IO-Link master port into four full-featured IO-Link ports. This allows up to four IO-Link I/O modules or IO-Link devices to be operated on a single master port – including process data, parameterization and diagnostics.

The IO-Link Multiplier is connected to an existing IO-Link master port.

The Multiplier provides four IO-Link ports to which any IO-Link devices can be connected, such as IO-Link I/O modules, IO-Link lights, or IO-Link sensors.

Despite the expansion of a single master port, all the benefits of IO-Link are retained. Process data, parameters, and diagnostic data are available without restriction for every connected device – and without the need for any additional tools.
